Terms of Service
Last updated: June 16, 2026
The Agreement
By using Brindie you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, don't use the service. We may update this page from time to time; continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
What Brindie Does
Brindie provides software for publishing community and event pages, collecting RSVPs, selling tickets, and related organizer tools. We strive for high uptime but don't guarantee uninterrupted access. Brindie is a software platform, not an event organizer. We are not responsible for the events, experiences, or services offered by organizers. Brindie is a tool for organizers. We are not a party to transactions between organizers and attendees.
Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use Brindie as an organizer or to purchase tickets. By using Brindie you confirm you meet this requirement.
Your Responsibilities
As an organizer you are responsible for the accuracy of event details, pricing, and policies shown to attendees. You are the merchant of record for your events and are solely responsible for delivering the experience you advertise. You must comply with applicable laws including consumer protection, tax, and data protection rules. You may not use Brindie for fraud, spam, illegal content, or to harass others. Brindie reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without prior notice.
Fees
Brindie charges organizers a platform fee on each paid ticket sold, automatically deducted before funds reach your Stripe account. Attendees pay a separate processing fee at checkout to cover payment processing costs. Organizers may opt into instant payouts for an additional fee. All applicable fees are described on our pricing page. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
Payments and Payouts
Payments are processed by Stripe. By using Brindie's paid ticketing features you agree to Stripe's terms of service. Brindie does not hold your funds; money from ticket sales is held in your connected Stripe account and subject to Stripe's payout schedule. Brindie is not liable for delays, failures, or losses caused by Stripe or your financial institution.
Refunds and Cancellations
Refund policies for attendees are set by the organizer and displayed on the event page. Brindie's platform fee is non-refundable in all cases. If an organizer issues a refund to an attendee, the refund covers the ticket price only; the processing fee paid by the attendee is non-refundable except where required by applicable law. Brindie reserves the right to issue refunds to attendees and recover the corresponding amounts from organizers in cases of fraud, chargebacks, or violation of these terms.
Disputes and Chargebacks
As the merchant of record for your events, you are responsible for resolving attendee disputes. If an attendee initiates a chargeback with their bank, Brindie will provide available transaction data to support your case but cannot guarantee outcomes. Costs arising from chargebacks, including Stripe dispute fees, are the organizer's responsibility.
Account Termination
Brindie may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violation of these terms. Upon termination, any funds already processed and available in your Stripe account remain yours subject to Stripe's terms. Brindie is not liable for losses arising from account termination where the termination was caused by your breach of these terms.
Intellectual Property
Brindie and its design, logo, and software are owned by Brindie. By publishing content on Brindie (event descriptions, images, community pages) you grant Brindie a non-exclusive licence to display that content solely for the purpose of operating the platform. You retain ownership of your content.
Disclaimers
The service is provided as-is, without warranties to the maximum extent permitted by law. Brindie is not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform, subject to any rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising from these terms will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
